Teddy
Kaye has been a professional singer for over 35 years and is currently
living and working in and out of Las Vegas, Nevada. He was born and
raised on Chicago's south side and spent nineteen years performing in
Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Mr. Kaye has been around the world more than
once, working in Europe, Singapore and other countries. Teddy loves
being around his family... sisters, nephews, nieces, cousins and of
course his mom back in Chicago. His ancestry is Italian and Greek.
Dad George was a songwriter/singer and
his sister Francesca is a professional singer (See photo in Gallery) in
Chicago occasionally working public venues plus doing special concerts and
shows. Teddy's whole family is musically inclined.
Music is his whole life. Teddy was
educated at the American Conservatory of Music in Chicago and holds an
Associate of Arts Degree there and in Business from ((Southwest) Richard
J. Daley College and a BPH from Northwestern University in Radio, TV, and
Film Communications.
Some of his stage credits include
Pal Joey, Guys and
Dolls, The Music Man to name a few. Teddy worked along
Punchinello (a musical comedy team) and as a single/duo at The Sheridan
Yankee Clipper Hotel for over 15 years in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. He has
worked with various bands in numerous cities from the mid-west to
California till entering the military in 1966.
Teddy has been singing and entertaining
since he was 3 years old. In addition to his exceptional musical talents,
he has established himself as a gifted writer with essays covering a broad
range of topics from politics to current events in Las Vegas to
fiction. He is grateful and ultimately proud to be an American. He also is
very proud to be a Viet Nam Veteran.
